Balance Staffing is Now Hiring for an Inventory Control Clerk for a well-known company in Lathrop, CA
Inventory Clerk
Location: Lathrop, CA
Pay: $23–$25/hr
Schedule: Day Shift | Approximately 6:00 or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Experience: 2–3 years in warehouse operations, inventory, logistics, or supply chain
Hiring Process: Resume submission and client interview required
About the Role
We are seeking an organized and hands-on Operations Specialist to support warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, fulfillment, and order management at a Lathrop facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support daily warehouse operations.
- Assist with training warehouse associates on WMS processes and procedures.
- Troubleshoot system and operational issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory, SKU, warehouse location, and operational data.
- Prepare productivity and fulfillment reports.
- Assist with order scheduling and daily fulfillment activities.
- Research inventory discrepancies and work with other departments to resolve issues.
- Document processes and operational issues and help develop procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and direction to warehouse team members as needed.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Intermediate Excel skills , including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
- Experience with WMS, ERP, or similar systems preferred.
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze information and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Bilingual Spanish/English.
- Previous experience training or guiding warehouse associates.
