FlexologistStretchLab El Segundo is seeking personal trainers, athletic trainers, massage therapists, yoga instructors, dancers, physical therapist assistants, and corrective exercise specialists to join our team. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the health and wellness industry to a new level.As a Flexologist you would provide one-on-one assisted stretches for our clients. We are the industry leaders in one-on-one assisted stretching and have created a variety of offerings to empower clients to "Live Long". StretchLab prides itself on having the finest team of stretching professionals, and our proprietary Flexologist Training Program (FTP) is recognized by various accredited Fitness Associations ensuring that our clients receive a world class stretching experience. Our clientele ranges through all demographics such as athletes, youth athletes, entrepreneurs, retired persons, high profile celebs and more.Perks:Compensation: $26-$30/hourStarting pay of $26/hour for every 50-min stretch performed (hourly + commission)Industry leading bonus structure (In addition to hourly + commission. Bonuses up to $300 average monthly)Access to cutting edge recovery tools and techniquesMotivating and upbeat environmentPaid training & Continuing EducationFree StretchLab MembershipPaid breaksEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessionsEducate clients on stretching techniques and mobilityCreate customized stretching experience for clientsHelp create a unique StretchLab experience helping build memberships and retentionEnsure safety of clients in regards to proper stretching techniques and enforce StretchLab Policies and safety regulationsAttend staff meetings, training sessions, and complete continuing educationHelp clean and maintain the studio environment and equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given timeQualifications:Certification and/or degree from a nationally accredited organization in one or more of the following fields:Personal Trainer, Athletic Trainer, or Sports Performance CoachMassage TherapistPhysical Therapist or Physical Therapist AideYoga InstructorPilates InstructorKinesiology, Sports Medicine, Corrective Exercise, etc.*Exceptions can be made for former collegiate and professional athletes with a strong understanding of AnatomyRequired Characteristics:Must have a professional work ethics, be reliable and adhere to our strict punctuality policiesPositive energy, enthusiasm and attitudeAbility to create a welcoming environment for all peopleFantastic communication skills and exudes empathy and compassionMust love connecting with people and have passion for helping others achieve goalsMUST be team oriented ("we, not me")Availability:Shifts are generally 6 hours each and must be open to working some weekendsAbout Us:StretchLab is one of the top wellness studios in the country.
