divh2Forklift Driver A/h2pThis position reports to the Cartoning Supervisor. The position is responsible for movement and necessary inventory control functions associated with physically moving Work in Progress (WIP), raw materials, supplies, and Finished Good Inventory (FGI) throughout the facility. A primary focus is to be maintained on assigned responsibilities of safely moving and distributing materials from one location to another and will be involved in the process of extracting and loading material to be transported. This position will require reading work orders and following oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved, loaded and unloaded from trailers and containers./ppKnowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory control./ppGood organizational skills, able to handle multiple tasks./ppAbility to safely and efficiently operate a forklift./ppGood communication skills./ppStrong organizational skills, able to handle multiple tasks./ppEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary./ppCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions./ppMaintain active forklift license and clean safety record./ppAssist in other departments material handling needs as available and applicable./ppResponsible for complying with all OSHA, MSDS, and C-TPAT regulations as well as Minigrip safety program./ppEnsure that the workplace is safe, professional, clean, and conforms to good manufacturing practices and a 5s style organizational program./ppPerform other duties as requested by management./p/div
