Dental Front Desk Coordinator

Overview

Big Smile Dental is now hiring a short term 12 week PRN Dental Front Desk Coordinator in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

This is a great opportunity for a dental front desk professional looking for flexibility to join the practice on a short-term assignment up to 12 weeks to provide excellent customer service to our wonderful dental patients!

We are looking to have this opportunity start in the beginning of August through 12 weeks after, with the opportunity to continue to be an ongoing PRN team member and work at the practice as needed.


Short Term PRN Dental Front Desk Coordinator Schedule:

Monday through Thursday 7:45am - 5:00pm and every other Friday 7:45am - 2:00pm

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients for positive first impressions
• Patient check in/out
• Coordinating patient payments
• Answers incoming calls
• Schedule and Confirm appointments
• Confirming patient information and gathering needed patient documentation
• Submitting insurance claims, posting insurance payments, and have solid overall front office knowledge
• Brief patients on treatment plans and practice's policies
• Knowledge of case acceptances, budgeting, and insurance

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• 2 or more years dental front office experience preferred
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs
• Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with a team
• Knowledge and ability to execute Insurance Verifications, Claims Management
• Confident and skilled in dental treatment case presentations
• Experienced in creating scheduling productive and efficient provider schedules
• Self starter, quick learner, reliable
• Prolonged sitting and standing as needed
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
