POSITION - CAD Designer/Drafter
JOB LOCATION - Osseo, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE - Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM - Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE - Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) - First shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
STARTING PAY - $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION - Two-year degree in drafting/design from a college or technical school, or equivalent experience
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - AutoCAD proficiency in both 2D and 3D modeling; experience with sheet metal and structural steel preferred

In this role, you'll design and create detailed assembly drawings, model products using AutoCAD, and work with team members to address manufacturing challenges. Expect to utilize your problem-solving skills and maintain accuracy throughout all phases of the design process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce assembly and detail drawings for manufacturing
• Model products in 2D and 3D using AutoCAD
• Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
• Apply organizational and mechanical aptitude to fast-paced projects
• Solve design issues as part of a technical environment

Qualifications:

• Proficient in AutoCAD software (2D & 3D modeling)
• Experience with sheet metal and structural steel a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and detail orientation
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Effective communicator with solid organizational skills
• Capable of working collaboratively and independently in a manufacturing setting
