Job Summary:

Quixote Studios is looking for a full-time Parts Clerk to join our Transportation team! This position will be responsible for accurately and efficiently ordering, receiving, and stocking warehouse parts. The ideal candidate must be safety-minded with exceptional customer service skills.

What You'll Do:

• Accurately and efficiently pull and stage material orders from paperwork, in an organized manner.

• Deliver and pick-up material for warehouse stock and custom order items for trailers.

• Load and unload trucks and safely strap-off cargo following all proper lifting, pushing, and pulling techniques.

• Work with technicians in the check-out and check-in process of warehouse items.

• Receive items from vendors and add items to the correct warehouse location.

• Create stock checks and short lists to maintain accurate inventory counts.

• Communicate customer/technician requests, order changes, and/ or paperwork specifications to a member of the management team.

• Work effectively as a member of a team and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with employees, suppliers, customers.

• Assist in general housekeeping of warehouse and display area.

• Safely operate lift gates and material handling equipment (forklift) to load, unload, or put away equipment.

• Accurately and thoroughly complete all paperwork.

• Follow delivery route instructions to ensure on-time delivery of equipment to the warehouse.

• Immediately report any issues/problems with vehicles to a member of the management team

• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and work area.

• Operate vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, following all state and DOT regulations at all times.

• Complete all tasks in a safe manner.

• All other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred (i.e. at auto parts store, manufacturing, warehousing, driving).

• Experience operating material handling equipment.

• Experience working with inventory systems.

• Ability to operate vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions preferred.

• Ability to perform all duties in a safe manner and in alignment with Company policies and procedures.

• Ability to provide a pro-active approach to project completion and warehouse needs.

• Ability to anticipate needs and multi- task in a high-volume environment.

• Must be reliable, professional and possess good judgment.

• Must have strong interpersonal skills and effective, clear communication skills.

• Must be well organized and detail orientated.

• Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed.

• Must have a valid driver's license.

• Perform safe/defensive driving techniques if assisting with client deliveries and/or pickups.

Physical Requirements:

• Heavy work: requires ability to lift, twist and carry up to 50 pounds and manipulate (pushing, pulling) up to 160 pounds of product, et cetera.

• Physical activities required of this job include, but are not limited to: bending, carrying, climbing, crouching, feeling, finger movement, grasping,, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, rapid work speed, reaching, repetitive motions, seeing, sitting, standing, stooping, talking, twisting, walking, and walking on irregular surfaces.

Working Conditions:

Activities include regularly working in outside weather conditions, exposure to extremes of temperature, visibility, wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations. Noise level in work environment is usually loud. Dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, operating vehicle, and shift work.
