A career at Koorsen includes competitive pay, a great health package, an annual bonus program, life insurance, continuous learning opportunities, 401 (k), paid holidays, generous PTO, tuition reimbursement, career growth opportunities, and much more.Up to $35/hour, depending upon experienceResponsibilities:Provide daily field support and measure the performance of techniciansWork with project managers and sub-contractors as neededMust be able to source, understand, and interpret industry codes and standardsEnsure technicians are participating in all Koorsen and vendor-required trainingProvide coaching and motivation to help develop team membersMust be organized and have the ability to make adjustments in the schedule to assist with department coverage needsInteract with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional mannerDemonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practicesOpen-minded willingness for continual learningFollow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core valuesAny other duties deemed appropriate by managementRequired:4 to 8 years of lead experience in the life safety industry5+ years in fire alarm repairAt least a NICET I certificationAble to meet state licensing requirements and vendor certificationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsPass drug and background screeningsValid driver's licensePreferred:Multiple NICET's in each discipline preferredPhysical Demands:Must be able to safely and effectively use general hand and power toolsMust be able to effectively use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.Lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.; push and pull greater than 75 lbs.Climb a ladder reaching a height of at least 12 feet, use a man lift, and reach heights exceeding 40 feet to perform servicesExposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noisesWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.Hiring Process (in addition to an interview):New hires must complete the I-9 Verification form within 3 days of hire. This form is required by the U.S. Department of Justice and Immigration and Naturalization Services. It is used to verify your identity and right to work in the United States.
