Sales Representative – Security Solutions

We are partnering with a client to identify a driven, relationship-focused Sales Representative to help expand their presence throughout Long Island. In this full-lifecycle B2B sales role, you will own the customer journey from prospecting and discovery through solution development, closing, and account growth. You will meet directly with businesses to understand their security challenges and connect them with tailored solutions across access control, video surveillance, physical security, cybersecurity, and integrated security systems. This opportunity is well suited to a motivated professional who enjoys field-based selling, developing new business, and building a high-performing territory while enjoying uncapped commission.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, discovery, solution development, proposals, negotiation, closing, and account growth.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of B2B opportunities across the Long Island territory.
• Generate new business through cold calling, targeted email outreach, networking, referrals, field activity, and local market engagement.
• Conduct onsite customer meetings to assess facilities, security concerns, business needs, and future plans.
• Recommend and sell access control, video surveillance, physical security, security integration, and cybersecurity solutions.
• Partner with technical and operations teams to develop solutions aligned with each customer’s environment, priorities, and budget.
• Prepare and present clear, persuasive proposals that communicate solution scope, business value, and anticipated outcomes.
• Develop long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business, referrals, and cross-selling opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of B2B sales experience in security, technology, low-voltage, cybersecurity, telecommunications, audiovisual solutions, managed services, or a comparable solutions-based industry.
• At least 2 years of direct new-business development experience, including cold outreach and territory prospecting.
• Proficiency using a CRM to document 100% of active opportunities, next steps, and forecast updates.
• Ability to travel within the Long Island territory up to 75% of the workweek;
  a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Working knowledge of at least 2 of the following solution categories: access control, video surveillance, physical security systems, cybersecurity, or integrated security solutions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  associate or bachelor’sdegree in business, sales, technology, or a related discipline preferred.
