Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Scientist II to join our Molecular & Cellular Biology team. The role will perform cGMP testing for large molecules and biologics product development and stability studies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate competency in cell-based and immunoassay techniques and the ability to generate accurate data and clear documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Execute laboratory testing under cGMP, including mammalian cell culture and sterile techniques.
• Perform in vitro cell-based assays such as reporter gene and proliferation bioassays.
• Conduct ELISA assays for quantitative and potency measurements using fluorescence, luminescence, colorimetric, or MSD platforms.
• Apply molecular biology techniques including PCR and qPCR.
• Support kinetic binding assessments such as BLI or SPR and perform flow cytometry as needed.
• Read and follow SOPs with attention to detail and operate equipment safely and compliantly.
• Document results legibly, accurately, and thoroughly to meet regulatory compliance; assist in drafting simple methods, forms, and reports.
• Train on 1–2 core methods and perform ad hoc sample testing activities.
• Uphold quality, safety, and ethical practices and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences.
• Foundational knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry.
• Ability to execute basic cell culture, molecular biology, and immunoassay techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal stakeholders.
• Organized, able to multitask, and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Ability to work under deadlines with attention to detail and critical thinking.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with BLI or SPR for kinetic binding analysis.
• Hands-on use of MSD platforms and flow cytometry.
