225-bed specialty care hospital.
Provides comprehensive services including heart and vascular, cancer care, brain and spine, rehabilitation, behavioral health, digestive health, bariatric medicine, women's health, and pediatrics.
Offers region's premier imaging, surgery, and laboratory services.
Located in the central region of Michigan's upper peninsula.
The largest community in the peninsula.
Home to a major university.


Unit Information:
Number of Beds: 6th floor.
Patient Ratios: 5:1 to 6:1.
Equipment includes telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, bladder scanner, Dynamaps.
Electronic Health Record system used is Cerner.
Patient population includes adults and geriatrics aged 18 to 125.


Preferred Skillset/Experience:
Experience on a medical/surgical unit.


Common Diagnosis/Treatment:
Specific diagnosis and treatment experience is beneficial.


Personality Fit:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Required Education:
Bachelor's degree.


Dress Code:
Scrub color: Galaxy Blue (Navy is also acceptable).
Fingernails should be kept clean and not excessive in length.
Must comply with hand hygiene policy.
Tattoos that may be considered offensive must be covered.
Excessive jewelry is not allowed.
