Insomnia Cookies is one of the fastest growing, late‑night sweet indulgence companies in the country and we are actively interviewing Delivery Drivers for our brand new Washington Navy Yard location. This new store will open at 1201 Half St. SE Suit 130, Washington, DC 20003 . As a Shift Leader , you are the captain of our bakery day or night. You will predict the flow of business throughout the shift, build orders, sell suggestions, bake, and interact with customers. Your hands‑on leadership style should include leading the cookie crew, maintaining high standards, and ensuring a productive, fun environment for the store. Key Perks Pay Rate: $17.00/hr plus tips. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests. Support store leadership by maintaining operations, communicating information, monitoring production efficiency, and holding the team accountable to company standards. Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew. Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew. Provide a safe, clean environment and adhere to food handling practices. Manage cash handling and deposits. Desired Skills / Experience At least 1 year of customer‑service focused experience. Experience with Point of Sale systems. Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills. Outgoing, friendly, and patient demeanor. Detail focused and results‑oriented. Ability to lead by example and motivate others. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Legally eligible to work in the United States.
