This 12-month Clinical AssistantProfessor, Promotion-Eligible, Non-Tenure-Track (PE-NTT), positionis for an experienced nurse educator who has exceptionalleadership, scholarship and excellence in teaching. The anticipatedstart date for the qualified applicant begins in Spring 2027.Position listing: Faculty responsibilities include: ongoing curriculum developmentand evaluation; classroom and clinical instruction in theundergraduate programs using on-site, simulation, and distanceeducation strategies; some travel; leading in college anduniversity committees; engaging in scholarship, service andacademic advising. Required Qualifications Earned PhD in Nursing or related field; if related field, MS inNursing from a professionally accredited college of nursing. National certification in clinical specialty arearequired. All candidates must have their primary unencumbered license inTexas as a registered nurse at the time of hire. Strong communication, writing, problem-solving, andinterpersonal abilities. At least 5 years full-time academic experience and demonstratedexcellence in teaching/mentoring, scholarship and universityservice. Published in peer-reviewed journals.
