Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Civil Litigation for a full-time position in Youngstown. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience and will work closely with partners on business and employment litigation, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Duties Manage all phases of discovery, including taking and defending depositions. Regularly appear for hearings, mediations, and trials. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, translating complex legal issues into actionable strategies. Requirements Minimum 2 years of prior litigation experience. Ability to craft persuasive, clear, and concise legal arguments. Skills-first mindset with an interest in learning new legal technologies. Must be a member in good standing with the Ohio Bar. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admission to the Ohio Bar. Skills Strong legal writing and research skills. Excellent communication and client management abilities.
