Computed Tomography (CT) TechnologistThe Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is responsible for operating specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists, physicians and other healthcare professionals in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders. This position assists in training students and technologists and performs injection procedures. The Technologist maintains optimum timeliness, accuracy, proficiency, efficiency, and safety during the execution of duties, and works closely with patients to ensure they have an understanding of procedures and are comfortable during procedures.Who We AreWith 11 ministries and access points across Indiana, Franciscan Health is one of the largest Catholic health care systems in the Midwest. Obtain and record patient identification, medical history, or test results. Review and update patient documentation in EMR and PACS.Perform venous punctures using universal precautions while administering contrast media.Practice established safety guidelines and utilizes ALARA radiation reduction tools and techniques.QualificationsPreferred Associate's Degree in RadiologyRequired Certificate in Radiology2 years Radiology PreferredBasic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart AssociationRadiography (ARRT-R) - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Indiana within 180 daysComputed Tomography (ARRT-CT) - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 1 yearTravel is required: Up to 20%Equal Opportunity Employer.
