Operating Room RN in Strongsville, OH

Deliver essential patient care in a dynamic surgical setting by providing expert clinical support in a busy operating room environment. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and focuses on a 7-room inpatient/outpatient unit, with flexibility to float to other departments when required. The work schedule consists of five 8-hour day shifts per week, 6:45am to 3:30pm, offering stability and consistent daytime hours.


Key Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license in Ohio
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience as an OR RN, including circulating and scrubbing capabilities
• Proficiency in Davinci XI robotic procedures required
• Previous experience with posterior eye procedures and eye trauma (highly preferred)
• Ability to adapt and float within surgical departments as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care in the operating room, following established protocols
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical cases, maintaining aseptic technique
• Support surgeons and surgical teams during Davinci XI robotic, ophthalmic, and trauma cases
• Evaluate and monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes
• Assist with instrument setup, sterile field preparation, and post-procedure care
