Medical Laboratory Scientist - Per Diem in Stoughton

Job Description Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our Laboratory on a Per Diem basis. The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) is responsible for specimen collection, analysis, and reporting of clinical laboratory results in accordance with established standards. The MLS will have oversight responsibilities for section technical oversight under the direction of the lab manager and will also aid in the implementation of the QA program. Position Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology (or other Science) with one year of clinical training at an approved school of Medical Laboratory Science. Prior related professional experience. Current MLS, MT (ASCP) certification or equivalent. Basic computer skills are expected for this position: access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements. Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills – able to perform fairly detailed formatting, create Word and Excel files, write formulas and prepare charts for reports.
