Caregivers & Home Health Aides

Job Title: Chief Happiness Officer (aka Caregiver) We are a locally owned home care agency looking for compassionate caregivers to provide one‑on‑one support to clients who are fragile, ill, disabled or elderly. As a full‑time employee, you will receive competitive pay and benefits. Location Clients' homes; you should be willing to drive up to 30 minutes to reach client sites. Pay & Benefits Hour rate is $16.00 for 4–12 hour shifts, with $1–$2 differential for short 2–3 hour shifts. Responsibilities Spread smiles and assist clients with daily activities. Serve as a supportive companion, listening and offering companionship. Provide compassionate, personalized care that respects dignity and comfort. Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and grooming. Offer emotional support to patients and their families. Prepare meals or assist with kitchen duties for clients. Perform household chores and errands as needed. Maintain a positive and humorous atmosphere. Provide personalized care that reflects empathy and attentiveness. Requirements Be 18 years of age or older. Hold a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle; willing to drive up to 30 minutes. Pass a criminal background check. Excellent communication skills with an empathetic approach. Deep understanding of end‑of‑life patient needs. A knack for turning everyday moments into memorable ones. Capability to find humor in challenging situations. Eligible to be hired as a State‑Tested Nursing Aide, Home Health Aide, Medical Assistant, Personal Care Assistant, nursing student, retired nurse, or any other caregiver with a heart and willingness to learn. OR anyone else with a desire to care for others and willing to become a professional caregiver. Benefits $16.00 hourly starting pay. Pay differential for short shifts.
