Job Title: Chief Happiness Officer (aka Caregiver)

We are a locally owned home care agency looking for compassionate caregivers to provide one‑on‑one support to clients who are fragile, ill, disabled or elderly. As a full‑time employee, you will receive competitive pay and benefits.

Location

Clients' homes; you should be willing to drive up to 30 minutes to reach client sites.

Pay & Benefits

Hour rate is $16.00 for 4–12 hour shifts, with $1–$2 differential for short 2–3 hour shifts. Responsibilities

• Spread smiles and assist clients with daily activities.
• Serve as a supportive companion, listening and offering companionship.
• Provide compassionate, personalized care that respects dignity and comfort.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families.
• Prepare meals or assist with kitchen duties for clients.
• Perform household chores and errands as needed.
• Maintain a positive and humorous atmosphere.
• Provide personalized care that reflects empathy and attentiveness.

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle; willing to drive up to 30 minutes.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent communication skills with an empathetic approach.
• Deep understanding of end‑of‑life patient needs.
• A knack for turning everyday moments into memorable ones.
• Capability to find humor in challenging situations.
• Eligible to be hired as a State‑Tested Nursing Aide, Home Health Aide, Medical Assistant, Personal Care Assistant, nursing student, retired nurse, or any other caregiver with a heart and willingness to learn.
• OR anyone else with a desire to care for others and willing to become a professional caregiver.
