Assistant BookkeeperAssistant Bookkeeper Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Pay: $20.00–$25.00/hour, based on experiencePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Bookkeeper to assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, strong knowledge of GAAP, and excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and financial operations.Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and general ledger entries.Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.Prepare payroll using ZUMA.Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.Assist with the preparation of tax documents and support tax compliance activities.Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion when handling sensitive data.Perform additional duties as assigned based on the needs of the organization.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).Proficient in journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial report writing.Familiarity with payroll processing and tax compliance.Experience with ZUMA payroll preparation.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Proficient in 10-key typing for efficient data entry.Interview ProcessFirst Interview: Microsoft TeamsSecond Interview: On-siteLinked, LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
