X-Ray Technician | Plano, Texas

Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging care in a dynamic healthcare setting dedicated to patient health and innovative radiology. This contract opportunity is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist/X-ray Tech ready to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment.


Schedule:

• Days: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00am - 3:30pm
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid Texas license for Radiologic Technology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proven experience with X-ray procedures in a clinical or hospital environment
• Strong understanding of imaging protocols and safety standards
• Excellent patient communication and positioning skills
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accurate documentation

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality radiologic images in compliance with physician orders and imaging department protocols
• Prepare and position patients for X-ray examinations, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, adhering to all radiation safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver timely results
• Document patient interactions, procedures, and imaging data accurately in accordance with facility policies
• Respond proactively to patient needs and provide compassionate care throughout the imaging process
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
