Responsibilities Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact with customers. Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience to provide each guest with a fast, friendly checkout. Oversees daily activities of store associates to ensure they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service. Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor. Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues. Manages opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring readiness for daily operation. Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures to improve performance. Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service. Partners with the store leadership team in merchandising procedures and World Recovery. Performs store maintenance duties such as cleaning, sweeping, garbage removal, and stock room organization. This job description is not all-inclusive. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Store Manager as needed. Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent College experience preferred Minimum 1 year of management experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and think creatively Ability to maintain composure under pressure Essential Job Functions Frequently operate a cash register Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and handle items up to heights of 5-10 feet Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stock room and on the sales floor Communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone; exchange accurate information Move across the sales floor to assist customers and retrieve stock Work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts and travel as required Identify and interpret email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, schedules, and SOPs Remain in a stationary, upright position for extended periods as needed Position Details Position Type: Hourly Position Starting At: $11.50 Benefits: Explore our benefits site to discover health coverage and wellness options; see benefits.fivebelow.com/public/welcome Equal Opportunity & Accommodations Five Below is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
