Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, explaining each step clearly and compassionately
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain patient records in our electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Exceptional technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
