The press department is responsible for meeting customer requirements while adhering to SLI standards for quality, throughput, and job parameters. What you’ll do Load, position, and adjust unprinted materials on press equipment. Set up and operate the press, including analyzing printed samples to confirm the job is correct. Understanding of color charts and the ability to check printed samples. Understanding of color laydown and overprint. Ability to read and understand docket information. Strong analytical ability and excellent attention to detail. Excellent time management — completing jobs on schedule is core to the role. Customer‑first mindset. Team player who jumps in to help others. Adaptable to a changing environment with frequent delays or unexpected events. Dependable, consistently on time, follows instructions, and takes feedback to improve. Maintains confidentiality of information to company and federal standards.
