This contract position offers approximately 9-10 hours per week with the freedom to select your working days and hours.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of New York
• Previous experience working with children in a school environment
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Commitment to helping students achieve their academic and functional goals
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage a part-time caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess and document students’ needs, abilities, and progress
• Collaborate with teachers and other related service providers to support students’ educational experiences
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies for classroom and individual success
• Educate and consult with school staff and families on student needs and therapy techniques
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
