About the Position

License: Active Registered Nurse License required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required (AHA only). Must-Have: - Arterial line experience required. - Preferred experience includes critical care, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and ICP monitoring. - Experience with ventilated patients. - Knowledge of pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications. - Ability to assist with line insertion and maintenance. - Experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients. - Familiarity with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVDs. - Competence in PA lines and waveform interpretation. Description: This is a critical care nursing position requiring specialized skills and experience. The nurse will work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment. The role includes monitoring and managing patients with complex medical needs. Candidates should have a solid understanding of advanced monitoring techniques. They should also be adept in handling ventilated patients and administering critical medications. The nurse will be responsible for assisting with line insertions and maintaining patient safety.
