Position Title: PackerDepartment: Machine ShopLocation: Fenton, MOReports To: Machine Shop SupervisorClassification: Hourly – Non-ExemptSchedule: 1st shift, Monday - Thursday, 5am - 3pm Position Summary:This position is responsible to inspect, wash, de-burr, pack, label, and box various machine shop parts. PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes are required at all times. Due to possible sharp parts, finger wrapping is suggested. Due to washing solution a mask and gloves are also suggested.Essential Job Duties:Inspect parts and wash parts in appropriate solution.De-burr parts as needed.Pack, label, and box various machine shop parts.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and Document actions by completing production and quality forms.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Required Experience/Skills:Basic Math skillsAttention to detailExcellent visionGood eye hand coordinationGood dexterityQuality focusedSafety focusedAbility to use testing equipmentDesired Experience/Skills:Ability to lift 35 lbs. About Control Devices:Control Devices (or "CDI"), an HBM Holdings company headquartered in Greater St. Louis, is a leading designer and manufacturer of engineered flow control solutions in the compressed gas, compressed air, oil & gas, and liquid controls markets.
