Job Title: Product Owner for Legal Contract Review (LCR)

Location: Downers Grove, IL

Hybrid position 2 to 3 days onsite

Summary:

• The Product Owner for Legal Contract Review (LCR) will partner to own the vision, roadmap, prioritization, and delivery of Company’s AI-enabled contract review experience. Building on the foundation established in Phase 1, this role will drive the implementation and adoption of Agiloft AI-assisted contract review, workflow automation, Salesforce integration, metadata-driven insights, and contract review optimization.
• Working closely with Legal, Legal Operations, Negotiation Consultants, Commercial teams, IT, and Agiloft partners, the Product Manager will ensure the solution aligns with the intended goal of being easier to do business with by reducing contract review friction, accelerating contract execution, increasing transparency, and enabling Legal teams to focus on higher-value legal decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the LCR product vision, roadmap, backlog, and success metrics
• Own and maintain LCR Backlog refinement, user story creation, and detailed feature estimation
• Prioritize features that reduce contract cycle time, improve user experience, and increase reviewer productivity
• Partner with Legal stakeholders, Negotiation Consultants, and Commercial teams to define requirements and validate business value.
• Drive adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement through data-driven insights and stakeholder feedback
• Ensure solutions are scalable, governable, and aligned with the future-state contract review operating model
• Ensure product readiness to increase contract throughput reviewer capacity, and reduce review cycle time.

Requirements:

• At least 10+ years of experience with significant Product Owner or Project Management experience and ability to work at a senior stakeholder level.
• Have strong communication skills to communicate effectively across business and technical teams. Work closely with legal stakeholders, build relationships and maintain alignment across multiple groups.
• Assist in requirement gathering. Define and document business processes. Help clarify project scope and deliverables, and map requirements into actionable work.
• Be able to operate independently. Require minimal oversight. Drive initiatives forward without heavy management. Execute effectively once objectives are established.
• Be able to navigate ambiguity, solve issues proactively, coordinate stakeholders and remove obstacles.

Preferred:

• Prior experience supporting legal organizations or legal technology projects is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes would be beneficial.
• Experience with Agiloft CLM.
• Familiarity with Agiloft AI functionality.
• Ability to work on-site approximately 2-3 days per week to facilitate collaboration with the Legal team and strengthen stakeholder engagement.
