Account Director, Business Development (Central Labs) US - Boston

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory account plans to acquire and retain high-value clients in mid-sized pharma segment
• Qualify prospective clients, establish contact networks, and convert leads into sales opportunities
• Drive awards and negotiate contracts within territory to meet annual sales and new client acquisition targets
• Oversee proposal and opportunity process in collaboration with internal teams including Scientific Affairs and Project Management
• Represent the organization at client presentations, bid defenses, and industry conferences as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant formal education or vocational qualification
• Approximately 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and training
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
• Proven business and financial acumen with analytical and data interpretation skills
• Executive presence and ability to build relationships across organizational levels
• Willingness to travel 25-50% and be physically based in assigned territory

Compensation: $95,000–$158,300 base salary, plus variable annual bonus eligibility
