Due to continued growth and success, Wolfe Eye Clinic has exciting career opportunities for Experienced Ophthalmic Technicians throughout the state of Iowa. We are a progressive, Iowa-based multi sub-specialty ophthalmology group with ten main locations, ten family vision centers, a surgery center, and several outreach sites. We are looking for passionate, energetic, and patient focused individuals to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Document patients' medical and ocular histories in the electronic medical record.
• Perform patient workups.
• Complete diagnostic testing, such as retinoscopy, manual refraction, applanation A-scan, keratometry, tonometry, OCTs, and visual fields.
• Provide patient education according to physician instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Ophthalmic experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Experience providing excellent patient care.
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and communicate concerns regarding the results of diagnostic testing.

• Manual Refraction
• Applanation A-scan
• Manual Keratometry
• Tonometry
• Visual Fields
• Retinoscopy
• Optical coherence Tomography (OCT)
• Fluorescein Angiography
• Fundus and optic nerve photography
• Corneal Topography
• Slit Lamp Photography
• B-scans

Daytime travel required. When traveling outside your base clinic, travel time and mileage will be reimbursed.
