Engineering Manager

- Lead one of several engineering teams
- Manage 5 to 6 developers and own delivery, quality, and day-to-day priorities
- Turn the roadmap into shipped, reliable software
- Partner with Product Managers and Designers to scope, plan, and deliver software
- Coach and grow developers, helping them build skills, navigate difficult problems, and plan career steps
- Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback
- Champion CI/CD, code quality, and observability practices
- Provide senior leadership with visibility into team impact, progress, and risks
- Team placement based on background, interview results, and business openings
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development management experience
- Track record of leading teams that ship
- Strong technical foundation in system design, computer science fundamentals, and modern web technologies
- Experience with technical design, problem-solving, and project management
- Jira experience preferred
- Genuine interest in hiring, coaching, and developing engineers
- Comfort partnering with Recruiting and other managers to hire and scale the organization
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work in the location listed for the role
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
