Warehouse Associate (Part-Time)

Job Summary: The PGW Auto Glass Warehouse Employee is responsible for handling, storing, and distributing automotive glass products while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This role includes receiving shipments, organizing inventory, fulfilling orders, and maintaining quality control to prevent damage to fragile products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

This is a part-time position.

* Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments of automotive glass and related materials. * Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders. * Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner. * Conduct quality checks to ensure glass products are free from defects and meet company standards. * Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and participate in cycle counts. * Follow proper handling and safety procedures to minimize product damage and ensure workplace safety. * Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of products. * Keep warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and properly storing materials. * Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA regulations. * Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and drivers to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Previous warehouse or logistics experience, especially handling fragile materials, is a plus. * Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to use forklifts and warehouse equipment. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment. * Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping/receiving documentation. * Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly. * Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors. * Commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow established procedures. * Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

* Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions. * Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. * Use of safety PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots as required. * Handling fragile automotive glass products requiring precision and caution.

Hours:

Hiring for 2 shifts - 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or shift flexible upon interview

Compensation: $25.00/hour
