Milling/Water Jet Operator

Aerospace Company based in Bloomfield is seeking highly motivated and results driven Machinists and Waterjet operators to join our growth oriented and forward‑thinking team of professionals. Waterjet/Machine operators should be able to efficiently pull, move, and load material on the waterjet/machine table. They will also be responsible for recording and completing proper paperwork to meet customers’ requirements while following all internal procedures. Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Responsibilities Must be able to read and understand work instructions (English Only) Effectively communicate with the shop floor supervisor and production control manager Perform machine push‑button cycles Perform daily maintenance checklist Produce quality parts and verify them for accuracy Inspect parts and understand any required changes Run multiple machines Safely move material using pallet jack or charts Maintain a clean work environment Clean all tools and machines at the end of the shift Report any non‑conformance to the shop floor supervisor immediately Turn off all equipment at the end of the shift Qualifications and Skill Requirements 1–3 years of CNC machine‑tool experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and understand blueprints Strong decision‑making skills to meet customer demands Collaboration with the shop floor supervisor to suggest improvements Ability to lift 40 pounds frequently Comfortable working in a noisy environment Willingness to work extra hours Comfortable working in wet environments Highly Desirable Experience working for metal fabrication and/or machining companies in a low volume/high mix environment.
