Job Description

The CVICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will possess significant open heart experience and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills to manage complex cases effectively.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patient health and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Provide post-operative care to cardiac patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and post-discharge instructions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in CVICU with open heart patients required.
• Current certifications as needed (e.g., BLS, ACLS).
