Nurse Practitioner Neonatal

Responsibilities Utilizes advanced knowledge and skills to provide nursing and selected medical procedures for neonates and infants. Communicates and collaborates with appropriate members of the health care team, including patient families. Works to improve the quality of care provided to neonates. Advances the care of neonates through participation in and application of the research process; shares knowledge on a formal and informal basis with interdisciplinary team as it relates to specialty area.> Ensures the continuous quality of professional services by maintaining updated knowledge and skills. Maintains current and valid licensure with the State Board of Nursing to provide continuous nursing services and prevent the spread of bloodborne and/or airborne diseases. Skills & Qualifications Advanced clinical assessment skills for neonates. Ability to make sound and timely decisions. Ability to cooperate and work well with others.
