Business Services Financial Analyst
BRIDGEPORT West, VA (onsite)
12+Month Contract

Responsibilities:
• Provide expertise and assistance in the development of capital project budgets and estimates
• Develop the project task charging structure and project forecast based on the approved capital budget
• Monitor actual project costs, ensuring projects proceed on schedule and within budget
• Develop and utilize cost tracking tools to monitor capital project cost component
• Monitor appropriateness of cost allocations, provide charging guidance, and direct cost to proper assets for project unitization at completion
• Develop project reports, scenario analyses and other updates to management throughout the project's lifecycle
• Provide monthly accruals and cashflow forecast updates
• Conduct monthly meetings with contractors and company personnel related to cost forecast inputs and updates
• Provide assistance to accounting, finance and other internal entities for audits and other required analyses
• Provide financial expertise and analysis in support of invoice approvals, change order requests and other contract negotiations.
• Establish and maintains proper internal control safeguards to ensure compliance and accurate reporting to project management and executive leadership.
• Knowledge and experience in financial planning and analysis
• Experience working with project managers to support capital project planning, scheduling, execution and issue resolution
• Knowledge of natural gas industry facilities and associated equipment
• Knowledge of capital project cost estimating, contract management and supply chain procurement
• Excellent leadership, organization and interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to be customer-focused in a large organization
• Excellent ability to work under own initiative and tight deadlines
• Extensive knowledge of Excel, macros, PowerPoint and Oracle
• Preferred Degrees Accounting or Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management
