Healthcare Recruiters International is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a leading behavioral health organization in Naples, Florida.

The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, crisis intervention, and treatment for individuals experiencing mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations

Diagnose and treat mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders

Provide psychotropic medication management

Assess suicide risk and develop appropriate safety plans

Respond to psychiatric crises and initiate Baker Act procedures when necessary

Maintain an active caseload and meet clinical productivity expectations

Provide walk-in services, urgent appointments, and follow-up care after discharge

Support Medication Assisted Treatment and long acting injectable services

Maintain timely and compliant electronic health record documentation

Collaborate with medical, nursing, clinical, and quality improvement teams

Participate in peer reviews, audits, and clinical quality initiatives

Support innovative treatments such as TMS and Spravato

Required Qualifications

Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution

Active Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license

National certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

At least one year of PMHNP experience under physician supervision

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills

Ability to pass required fingerprinting, background checks, and drug screening

Ability to maintain required training and immunizations

Preferred Experience

Community or integrated behavioral healthcare

Medication Assisted Treatment

Long acting injectables

TMS or Spravato treatment

Peer review or quality improvement
