Software Engineer II, Design Engineering – NikeWHO YOU WILL WORK WITHThe Consumer Product & Innovation Design Engineering builds software tools and systems to enable end-to-end product creation at speed and scale. We power designers, artists, developers and engineers by equipping them with integrated tools to create, manage and share visual assets across business functions at Nike that make collaboration automated and seamless. You will work with a team of software engineers and partner with our product managers and business users, as well as engineers across CP&I.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe’re looking for a software engineer who can design and write code in a modern software development environment. The candidate needs to be highly collaborative with peers, productive in a fast-paced development environment and have native cloud software engineering experience.Bachelor Degree or a combination of relevant education, training and experience2+ years of hands-on development experience in javascript/node.jsExperience with AWS products including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, s3Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and computer-science fundamentalsHands-on experience implementing and supporting modern software architectural principles and patterns (REST, domain-driven design, microservices, etc)Experience with implementing and integrating AI, Machine Learning and related data solutions a plusExperience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWHAT YOU’LL WORK ONYou will develop in collaboration with a team of engineers building out tooling for our enterprise facing applications that are part of Nike’s Design domain.
