Strategic Extended Threat Shield (SETS) Program Training Lead Date Posted: 2026-05-21 • Location: Woburn, MA • Salary: $107,500 – $204,500. This U.S.-based role requires an active U.S. government Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship. Overview Raytheon’s System Integration and Test Capabilities (SI&TC) directorate seeks a Training Lead to develop and deliver high‑quality training for the SETS program. The role leads training design, content development, resource management, and sustainment strategies in collaboration with engineering, program management, and operations teams. Responsibilities Collaborate with engineering teams to create comprehensive training materials that meet user needs and customer standards. Apply subject‑matter expertise to develop, review, and deliver training. Drive performance to cost and schedule targets while ensuring training quality. Interact regularly with the SETS program office and customers, providing program highlights, staffing needs, and risk assessments. Apply RTX Lifecycle Program Management processes and tools to establish and monitor metrics and trends. Manage travel (approximately 30% domestic) for training, coordination, and stakeholder meetings. Qualifications Degree in STEM field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Experience training in a military and/or civilian environment. Preference for experience with radar systems. Experience leading training development and conduct for large‑scale military programs. Experience managing the development of computer‑based training (CBT). Familiarity with 3D modeling, game design, visual effects, or related multimedia disciplines.
