The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of carpentry, as well as a proficiency in a wide range of tasks related to apartment maintenance and tenant turnover. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a professional, courteous demeanor when interacting with residents. Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of carpentry work, including framing, drywall repair, door and window installation, and other building maintenance.

• Address maintenance and repair needs of multi-unit residential properties.
• Complete work orders and turnover projects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Repair and replace damaged or worn-out fixtures, flooring, and trim.
• Install new hardware, such as doorknobs, locks, and hinges.
• Troubleshoot and resolve common maintenance issues within residential units.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with property management, tenants, and other team members.

• Proven experience as a carpenter, with a focus on residential or multi-unit properties.
• Proficiency in a variety of carpentry techniques, including framing, finish work, and cabinet installation.
• Strong working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of basic building codes and regulations.

• Experience with historic and older building restoration and repair.
• General maintenance skills (e.g., basic plumbing, painting, or light electrical work).

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and work in various positions for extended periods.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
