PA/NP Cardiac Critical Care | Per-Diem

The Providence Heart Institute and Providence St. Vincent Hospital are seeking a Critical Care Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its growing multidisciplinary team in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The Critical Care team treats patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. As the state’s highest volume cardiac surgery program, you will manage patients following complex cardiac and aortic surgery. The institute also offers a robust advanced heart failure service, including transplant, LVAD, and cardiogenic shock programs that utilize mechanical circulatory support such as ECMO. Responsibilities Manage patients following complex cardiac and aortic surgery. Treat patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions in a high‑volume cardiac surgery program. Provide care within the advanced heart failure service, including transplant, LVAD, and cardiogenic shock programs with ECMO support. Work closely with a multidisciplinary cardiology team. Qualifications Board‑eligible or board‑certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Adult‑Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP). Experience and desire to function in a team‑based care model.
