Exciting Opportunity for an Electrophysiologist

We are thrilled to announce an exceptional opening for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Electrophysiologist to become part of our Cardiology department in Mason City, Iowa. Our organization is a physician-owned, multi-specialty group dedicated to providing top-notch healthcare.

Opportunity Highlights

• Become a member of a dynamic team consisting of 10 physicians, 10 fellows, and 7 nurse practitioners.
• Participate in a 1:6 call rotation, with the potential for additional call opportunities that offer a $500 per diem, and fellows will take the first call.
• Engage in a practice that encompasses inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services.
• Perform procedures such as ICDs, pacemakers, ablations (including pulse field technology), and loop recorders.
• Access a comprehensive range of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, and electrophysiology, collaborating closely with cardiac and vascular surgery teams.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive guaranteed base salary of $785,104 per year, plus production incentives (2-year guaranteed base).

Qualifications

Applicants must be graduates of an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school and have completed a relevant residency program. Board certification or eligibility is required. Candidates must be able to secure medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa, as well as an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and a Federal DEA Certificate.
