This travel position offers the chance to work in a dynamic setting, providing essential laboratory services to a diverse patient population.

As a Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient laboratory operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and greeting patients and the general public as they enter the laboratory
• Registering lab patients accurately and verifying necessary patient demographics
• Maintaining a working knowledge of all hospital and support services
• Answering incoming calls courteously and routing them to the appropriate area
• Performing newborn capillary collections from the heel
• Handling centrifugation, aliquoting, and distribution of samples to the correct departments

Requirements for this role include:

• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Hospital experience required
• Newborn collection skills with capillary collection from heel
• Knowledge of centrifugation and sample distribution
• Meditech experience preferred
