Job Description Job Description Riddle's jewelry is looking for an eager, trend-driven Jewelry Buyer to help shape our product assortment across 70+ retail locations. You'll partner closely with vendors, dig into what's selling, and grow your buying career firsthand in a collaborative environment - with real ownership and room to make a lasting impact. What You'll Do Merchandising Strategy & Assortment Planning Develop and execute assortment strategies aligned with company goals and customer preferences Analyze sales performance, trends, margin, and inventory metrics to drive profitable decisions Create and manage seasonal and core assortment plans across designated categories Contribute to planogram development, case layouts, and merchandising standards to maximize presentation and sell-through Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships, negotiating pricing, terms, and exclusives Participate in and grow into leading vendor meetings and new product development initiatives Identify emerging trends and new opportunities in fine jewelry and fashion categories Oversee purchase order process including SKU setup, order placement, receiving coordination, and vendor follow-up Manage inventory levels, forecasting, replenishment, allocation, and category performance Monitor open-to-buy and ensure alignment with financial objectives Support vendor return strategy and product lifecycle management What You Bring Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data Strategic mindset with a passion for trend forecasting and product curation Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams High level of organization and attention to detail Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Passion for jewelry, fashion, and retail innovation Education & Experience Degree in Merchandising, Business, or related field (preferred) 2+ years of retail buying, merchandising, or product planning experience Retail buying or product experience in jewelry, fashion, or accessories is a plus - but not required Experience managing vendors and negotiating product programs Benefits Riddle's Group, Inc. offers a competitive benefits package designed to support your health, financial future, and work-life balance: 401(k) Savings Plan with employer match Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Employer contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA)v Flex Spending Account (FSA) and 529 College Savings Plan Company-paid training and development Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Sick Time Parental Leave Relocation assistance available for candidates outside the Rapid City area #riddles #J-18808-Ljbffr
