A non-profit addiction and mental health organization located in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their team full-time! Patient population is ACT team, providing intensive treatment to adults with serious mental illness (to include: schizophrenia, bipolar I, major depression with psychotic features, co-occuring substance use disorders) Job Description: Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis and medication management for adults with serious mental illness. Treat individuals with complex behavioral health and co-occurring substance use disorders. Provide community-based care through an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. Collaborate with nurses, therapists, case managers and other behavioral health professionals. Monitor medications, treatment response and overall patient progress. Support crisis intervention and coordinate care with hospitals and community providers. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Requirements: Current, unrestricted APRN license in the State of Utah with prescriptive authority PMHNP-BC certification through ANCC DEA Current CPR/BLS Valid driver's license and insurability, comfortability providing care in community/field based environment DATA 2000/X-Waiver for buprenorphine prescribing, strongly preferred Recovery-oriented and trauma-informed #J-18808-Ljbffr
