Summary This position, located at the Oklahoma City VA HCS, Facilities Management service is responsible for the proper installation, maintenance, repair and necessary modification of refrigeration, air conditioning and heating equipment ranging from multi-ton to fractional horsepower units and their related systems. Responsibilities Major duties of this position include but are not limited to...Responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of direct expansion refrigeration and air condition, environmental control rooms, walk-in refrigerators and freezers, blood bank refrigerators, ice machines, refrigerated medical equipment for labs and research, drinking fountains and roof top units that are used to cool computers rooms and research experimental rooms, chill water systems, heating water systems, humidifiers, pneumatic controls and piping, regulators and valves for fan coils, induction units, and heating and cooling coils and air handling units and exhaust systems. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Position Description Title/PD#: Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic/PD12827A Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, lifting (70 pounds or more), crawling, pulling, and pushing, inside and outside building are required.
