About the Position

Job Overview

Locum Tenens Hematology/Oncology opportunity in Pennsylvania. This is a full-time clinical role with outpatient-based care, inpatient consult support, and call rotation responsibilities.

Work Details

• Start Date: June 2026 (ongoing assignment)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Setting: Outpatient clinic with inpatient consult support
• Patient Volume: ~15 patients/day
• Case Mix: ~2/3 Oncology, ~1/3 Hematology
• Call: Approx. 1 week/month (inpatient + phone consults)
• EMR: EPIC
• Clinical Scope:
  • Solid tumors (lung, breast, colorectal, prostate, etc.)
  • Hematologic disorders and select blood cancers
  • Infusion therapy management (chemo, immunotherapy, IVIG, IV iron)
  • Tumor board participation required
  • Collaboration with NP and virtual hematology support

Requirements

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology required
• Active Pennsylvania license preferred or willingness to obtain
• Minimum experience preferred, though strong candidates considered
• Strong clinical and collaborative practice skills
• Complete work history with no significant gaps
• Full malpractice disclosure required
• Updated CV + provider questionnaire + NPDB self-query (within 6 months)
