In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems on locomotives, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. • Inspect, test, and repair electrical systems and components on locomotives.
• Diagnose electrical malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on electrical systems.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure optimal locomotive performance.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Stay updated on industry standards and safety regulations.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in the railway industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
