Senior C++ Software Engineer - Mission Planning

Salary: $85,000 - 195,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• We require 4+ years of experience developing C++ applications on Linux.
• We require 1+ years of Python programming experience.
• We require experience with Git or comparable version control tools.

• Preferred qualifications include 7+ years of software development experience with C++ on Linux.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with C++ build tools such as CMake and Conan.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with Conda for package management.
• Preferred qualifications include a strong interest in modeling and simulation.
• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of software profiling and optimization, testing, and static and dynamic code analysis.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with software delivery pipelines such as GitLab CI/CD.
• Preferred qualifications include an existing Final Secret or Top Secret clearance.

• We design, develop, test, and review cyber-hardened software in C++ and Python within classified environments.
• We carry out object-oriented design, algorithm design, implementation from specifications, code refactoring, software testing, software assurance, and supporting documentation.
• We perform high-impact engineering work that advances multi-mission and multi-service planning capabilities and helps predict the performance of U.S. military systems.
• We help build multi-mission simulation software, including capabilities related to ballistic missile defense and space domain awareness, for analysis and integration into mission planning tools.
• We document concepts, software, requirements, analysis findings, and technical recommendations.
