Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a contract School Psychologist working 24 hours per week in a dynamic educational setting near Overland Park, KS. This engaging role, available from December 7, 2026 through March 21, 2027, offers an enriching opportunity to collaborate with students, educators, and families to support academic, emotional, and social success.
Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas School Psychologist license required
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Strong understanding of behavioral and learning principles in K-12 settings
- Ability to conduct psychological assessments and interpret results effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services including assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Conduct evaluations for special education eligibility, cognitive abilities, and emotional/behavioral functioning
- Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health
- Assist in the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Advocate for students’ mental health and academic success
