Bioprocessing Associate - Downstream

We are supporting a commercial-stage biologics manufacturer in New Jersey that has recently transitioned into full-scale GMP production following multiple FDA approvals. As part of ongoing expansion, they are hiring Bioprocessing Associates (Downstream) to support large-scale biologics manufacturing operations. This role is suited to candidates with hands‑on downstream bioprocessing experience within a GMP environment, ideally with exposure to purification processes at scale. Key Responsibilities Execute downstream bioprocessing activities including chromatography, UF/DF, TFF and filtration Operate and maintain process equipment (e.g. ÄKTA systems, filtration skids) Prepare buffers and solutions in accordance with GMP procedures Complete batch records and ensure accurate documentation Support process execution and troubleshooting on the manufacturing floor Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, QC and MSAT teams Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field 1–3+ years of hands‑on downstream bioprocessing experience (GMP preferred) Strong understanding of purification processes (chromatography, filtration) Experience working in or exposure to GMP environments Ability to work on‑site in New Jersey Nice to Have Experience with TFF / UFDF processes Familiarity with ÄKTA chromatography systems Exposure to biologics or biosimilars manufacturing Experience supporting scale‑up or tech transfer activities Why Apply Opportunity to join a commercial biologics manufacturing site with approved products Exposure to large-scale GMP production and downstream processing Clear progression into senior manufacturing or technical roles High-growth environment with continued expansion #J-18808-Ljbffr Global Life Science Hub
