Assistant General Manager - Relo to the Highlands Area

Job Description

An established, chef-driven restaurant is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee all operations and deliver a polished, hospitality-driven guest experience near the Highlands, NC. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance floor presence with strong business acumen while building a high-performing team. The ideal candidate brings consistency, accountability, and a passion for elevated service in a fast-paced environment.

Assistant General Manager Requirements and Qualifications

5+ years of full-service restaurant management experience, including Assistant General Manager leadership
Proven ability to oversee FOH and BOH operations in a high-volume setting
Strong background in P&L management, labor control, and cost oversight
Demonstrated success in recruiting, training, and retaining strong teams
Hands-on management style with strong presence during peak service

Assistant General Manager Preferred Background and Skills

Experience in chef-driven, upscale casual, or polished dining concepts
Strong understanding of food, beverage, and elevated service standards
Track record of improving operational consistency and profitability
Ability to foster a positive, accountability-driven culture
Strong collaboration with culinary leadership and ownership
